A powerful aerial destroyer equipped with Special armor, anti-air Positron cannons, and rapid ground rifles. This makes the Saint a formidable threat against all targets, as well as the aerial equivalent of a Hover Tank. Unlike the Hover Tank, however, it comes equipped with its own self-repairing technology, which although is not as strong as standard Sakata self-repairing, is sufficient to keep it airborne for much longer periods of time.
The Saint uses anti-air Positron cannons and rapid ground rifles to decimate its opponents. Its long range makes it dangerous to both air and ground units that may struggle to even get within range of this terrifying unit. Most forms of armor are easily penetrated by its weaponry, including both Chronite and Special armor.
Effective against Chronite armor with its sniper-like ground weapon, it will slowly decimate your Chronite army and take control of the battlefield.
With their long-range and Hover Tank like weapons, they can decimate even groups of air units with its range and speed. Although there are fellow threats in the sky, it will take many to take this down.
Due to their high speed and respectable durability, it is very hard to take one of these down without it running away to regenerate or hide behind ground troops. This unit is a very tricky one indeed.
Large swarms of air units will still survive the onslaught of the Saints weaponry and quickly decimate it. Saints are best and most effective at clearing out small groups of aerial threats before they become a problem.
Dangerous units that pose anti-air qualities can slowly tear down the Saint. Units such as the Sakata Mk-II's, S-Marines, Mirages and even the Eidolon will bring the Saint down to critical levels if left exposed. Beware of Black Queens, for they as well can still pose a threat from their resilience.
With a 65 Money cost to upgrade the Hospital to a War sanctum and 50 Influence to deploy a single Saint, they are not often seen in high numbers, making each one of them valuable to preserve. Avoid pointlessly dangerous engagements with whatever the Saint struggles against, and use its self-repairing to return it to operable conditions for future engagements.
Due to how tanky and powerful this unit is, it's no question that pinning with it is very effective. In this situation, Post players may find it very difficult to break a pin. With some support on the ground, the Saint may become unbreakable without the use of the Multipurpose structure units.
As dangerous as snipers are, they are no match for their aerial cousin. Tear down the enemy snipers and ground threats slowly but surely with the long-range capabilities of the Saint, making room for your own ground units.
