The Angel is a specialized support aircraft unit equipped with advanced medical technology. Wearing light armor, these battlefield air medics rapidly repair damaged aerial vehicles in the sky. Despite their lack of offensive capabilities, Angels are useful in support of air units.
The Angel utilizes the same nanomolecular healing apparatus as the Meditec, though the Angel's is specifically designed to repair aircraft rather than ground troops and vehicles. Because of this, Angels cannot heal or repair any ground units.
Angels, being air healers, have a strong synergy with the Saint. This allows the Saints selfheal and the heal from Angels to overlap creating a very strong tank air unit that is difficult to take down.
With a slow movement speed, Angels struggle to reposition in dynamic combat situations. This sluggishness makes them particularly vulnerable to attacks from faster units. They often require frontline protection, as they cannot effectively evade pursuit or incoming fire on their own.
Despite their critical battlefield role, Angels possess similar fragility as standard Meditecs, with only 75 health points and light armor. They are highly susceptible to concentrated fire and area-of-effect attacks, such as from other aircraft or Sakata Mk-IIs.
Deploy 4-5 Angels behind a Saint to create a formidable mid-game defensive position. Exercise caution against Sakata Mk-IIs or Mirages.
Deploy 4-5 Angels behind Shrikes to help them apply their debuff on units that have some ant-air capabilities.
